S3 supports hosting static sites. I am wondering why not push a static version of the homepage to S3 for the time being.
Otherwise, would Weebly be an adequate platform for hosting IceFilms in the short term? If you cut out the categories, archives and search, you should be able to maintain the homepage and detail pages for some time.

With cloudflare caching all the static content and varnish caching the dynamic, even a small/medium VPS could handle icefilms easily.

Getting the site up is easy, keeping it up is the object of the exercise. Better to be down for two weeks while a permanent solution is found than offer temporary, less than adequate solutions that will leave users disappointed. Do it once, and do it right.

For my DirecTV Satellite sites back in the day I shipped a server to Moscow and Ukraine which was a sleeper server in case the Moscow one went down. Your best bet would be Sevastopol or Simferopol in Crimea, Ukraine, err Russia now. There's also Costa Rica. And honestly why hasn't anyone thought of Iran or North Korea. Definitely places like that are harder to even get anyone in those countries interested enough to look at your issues of seizing servers meaning your servers are safe for a long time, couple years at least. Bribes go a long way in all mentioned places above.
