We all miss you, and need you back for Christmas with so much rubbish on TV. Thanks for all you have done in the past, and have a great Christmas.

We have never been offline for two months. I have been here around six years and have only ever seen it down a few days. While that may technically be true, when you went down last year it took quite awhile to get the content links back up to previous levels. As I recall, two months would not be an exaggeration. I'm hopeful that this time will be faster but I think everyone should try to be patient as I think icefilms is worth it. Downtime does relate to loss of links. I am very familiar with the length of retention with all the hosts we use. The poster was asking about our down time, not how the downtime affects the library. That said, the library can only suffer loss by links not hit on within the host's prescribed time frame to keep them alive. A lot of links will die, but at least more will be there when we come back this time due to the daily lineup.

Please, dear icefilms, hurry up with your solution to the problem. My sister has been calling me every day since Icefilms has been down, asking me for updates about the situation, even begging for me to go to her home and fix the issue myself. She's 36 yet doesn't grasp how these things work. XD No, seriously, no rush. I hope you find a new host soon and that we can all go on and enjoy your magnificent service. Speaking as someone from Belgium, services like Icefilms are a must for geeks like me who do not wish to get spoiled before their favorite show airs in their country. (If it gets airtime at all...) Now we just watch shows before we browse any social media, et voila, no spoilers for us. I want to wish you all a great Christmas, and hope the problems will be resolved soon!

A lot of links will die, but at least more will be there when we come back this time due to the daily lineup. I have enjoyed Ice for so many years I cannot remember how many years ago it was now but one other time when Ice was down for an extended period of time there was a large loss in the number of films in it's library and most were not due to the loss of a host site. Many have never been added again since and it's that loss that concerns me the most as more time passes. I am an agoraphobic and I do not go out and I do not let people in my home so I do not have friends and Ice is almost all I do, it is my life, so I always hope for more and more movies to be added and hate to think how many might now be lost.

We only provide links to stuff that is already on the net. The dedicated team of 40 yr old virgins living in their mothers basements is always trying to keep them up by searching the web for these links.
